The activation and notification process for establishing an evacuation centre during a disaster event
The process for opening an evacuation centre including operations, equipment, communications and reporting
The process for the operations of an evacuation centre, including daily management and reporting
The resourcing of an evacuation centre including the required skillset and capability of staff and community partners who are managing and staffing the centre
The process for closing an evacuation centre
The final report provided a comprehensive review of evacuation centre operations and management arrangements along with issues, challenges, and risks moving forward. The report also detailed a recommended approach, resources and timeline to implement changes.
