2022 Risk Management Institute of Australasia Risk Consultant of the Year

Risk-e Business Consultants attended the RMIA Conference and Awards evening in May 2023 where we were delighted that Dave Owens was announced as the 2022 Risk Management Institute of Australasia Risk Consultant of the Year.

This is a major achievement for our company who prides itself on the provision of professional and contemporary advice over a vast variety of industries.

The Risk Consultant of the Year was awarded due to work undertaken with NSW Department of Primary Industry (Foot and Mouth Disease operationalisation), the Star Casino for assisting the in the uplift of the Investigations Unit and associated Risk Management strategies, and LEAMAC Property Group to develop a Flood Emergency Response Strategy for future developments.

All of these were undertaken concurrently. Each of these areas had their own challenges, which through working with the client to understand their needs, successful outcomes were achieved in all areas.

The structured and systematic application of international risk management standards was applied across all three businesses through development or enhancement of their risk management policies. The operational, financial and compliance components were implemented to improve risk management outcomes.
