Appointment to Efficiency Advocate for NSW & ACT Avian Influenza Outbreak

Last week, Dave Donohue from Risk-e Business, appointed by Animal Health Australia as the Efficiency Advocate (EA), visited Victoria to observe firsthand the State's response to recent emergencies. Dave’s visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Victoria's incident management and to identify opportunities for enhancing response strategies.

During his visit, Dave engaged with key stakeholders. He observed various operational protocols and discussed the integration of innovative technologies and streamlined processes to improve response and coordination among agencies.

Dave has now been appointed as the Efficiency Advocate for managing outbreaks in NSW and the ACT. In this expanded role, he will leverage his insights from Victoria to foster improvements and ensure efficient, effective responses to incidents in these regions as well.
