Success in the NSW Land and Environment Court

The Land and Environment Court accepts the evidence of Mr Dave Owens APM, founder of Risk-e Business Consultants, in the matter of CWO Pty Ltd -v- Muswellbrook Shire Council (First Respondent) and Commonwealth of Australia (Second Respondent).

In June 2024, over five days, evidence was provided to the Land and Environment Court in respect to an appeal against Council/Commonwealth and development application 2021/137. Mr Owens provided expert witness evidence in respect to Emergency Management and evacuation processes. Mr Owens was able to present evidence on how emergency management arrangements are implemented from an operational perspective, arrangements under the NSW Governments  ‘All Hazards, All Agencies’ approach and traffic management (evacuation) during an event.
