Risk-e Business facilitates largest multi-agency bushfire exercise in NSW

Exercise Alinta was held on the 7th and 8th August 2023 and was the largest State Bushfire Exercise ever held in NSW.

The Exercise was facilitated by Risk-e Business and the NSW RFS to exercise the policies, procedures and new systems in the State Operations Centre.

The exercise centred around three major fires in the Hornsby, Orana and Southern Border areas. The Victorian CFA were also involved to exercise cross border procedures and build on existing relationships.

Staff from the RFS State Operations Centre and Districts, assisted by Functional Areas, worked through a series of rapidly evolving scenarios over the two days.
