Exercise ‘National Resolute’ for the National Recovery and Resilience Agency

The Australia and New Zealand Emergency Management Committee (ANZEMC) Program Management Office at the National Recovery and Resilience Agency is coordinating several national disaster recovery projects.

The projects are designed to enhance the capability of the recovery sector to provide an effective recovery response in an increasingly challenging operating environment on behalf of the Community Outcomes and Recovery Sub-Committee (CORS).

Exercise ‘National Resolute’ was a series of six scenario-based discussion exercises, which takes into account whole-of-government recovery planning and the consideration of complex, high-level and long-term recovery outcomes and consequences from catastrophic events.

The six exercises took place in June 2022, involving all states and territories, with over 180 participants. Risk-e Business wrote and facilitated these exercises.
