NSW Ambulance Paramedics Take Part in Exercise 'Volatus Aurora’ at Sydney Airport

NSW Ambulance paramedics took part in Exercise 'Volatus Aurora’ held at Sydney Airport recently.

NSWA staff are to be commended for volunteering their time to participate in Exercise Volatus Aurora at Sydney Airport. The exercise was written and facilitated by Risk-e Business who simulated a no-notice aircraft crash and subsequent emergency response.

To add to the realism of the exercise, arrangements were made for the participation of a special effects studio who simulated injuries on passengers to visually impact those that were treating them. Feedback was that this greatly enhanced the overall experience.
